The Beaver Journey
At this point in my case study of the Belching Beaver-Tavern & Tasting Room in Downtown Vista, has not gone as planned. I thought I would be further along at this point in the project. Currently I have sent emails in the hopes of contacting any management staff member to help provide me with any contact information. So I could schedule the meetings with the management and the employees of this establishment. I did recently receive an email from one of the managers but from a different location in Vista. Her name was Karye and mentioned she would provide me with the contact information of some management staff at the Downtown location so I could begin this project. She seemed very happy that I was conducting my case study on the Belching Beaver.
By the end of this weekend, leading into Monday of next week I hope to be in contact with someone from the management staff and have scheduled appointments to discuss the leadership within the establishment. If Karye, does not provide me with any contact information this week, I will continue to call the location and/or go in person to conduct the interviews or set up a time to meet again. I have noticed, they are taking a long time to respond. In a worst case scenario, by the middle of next week, but before Thanksgiving. If I hear no response I will change my business and start the project from a fresh slate. This will mean additional work, but the true message is that great communication between the management and the customer is crucial and to respond in a timely but efficient manner enables the consumer to build trust and creditability with the business. Thus, reflect the management style inside possibly. I am currently in a waiting game but hope some actions can be made pretty shortly. This is taking an interesting path and a challenging path, but I know it will work out in the end. However, I am unable to provide any details in regards to the back of the house currently at this moment due to the lack of communication. The Connect, Refresh, and Energize connections between the theory and the business, I am unable to present this at this moment.
