Welcome to my blog that explores my perspectives of leadership.

My name is Teyla Pitassi and I am a senior that is graduating December 2016 from San Diego State University. I am majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an Emphasis in Meetings and Events Operations Management.

My Leadership journey began when I took a position at Panera Bread. Eventually working my way up to a Supervisor/ Training Specialist. In that position, the qualities of leadership and what makes a good leader became very important. Some qualities that represent my leadership style include; practice what your preach, accountability, time management, teamwork, inspiration/optimism are just to name a few. This is what I strive my leadership style to obtain and practice in the workplace.

Within this blog under Leadership Expressed, will explain some qualities I find important in a variety of channels and mediums.

The focus of this blog is to look at an aspect of leadership but try to take a new approach or look at it in a new perspective. Hence, Eye of Leadership as the title. I strive to look at an issue or problem from a new perspective to allow for a better solution. In any debate you need to understand the pros and cons of a case to be able to present a case and that concept directly applies to leadership. By exploring this blog will help understand what leadership entails but through an eye that is not solely focus on one factor but rather on multiple.
